I have oil under my car. Getting worse and I noticed the oil filter is soaked and some oil sitting directly under the where the trans and engine meet. Nothing on passengers side. Rear main seal the culprit?
But as Smoken1 stated, it could be the are where the oil pressure sending unit is. I had a 2006 GTO that had an oil leak at that exact area. I changed the valley pan gasket and sure enough, no more leak.

start up top and work your way down... if you don't have headers you can easily unbolt the inspection cover (if you have one) and get a better look... fyi the trans is in the back of the car, it doesn't bolt to the engine
