BCM Wet
The BCM, at least I think that is what it is; specifically the computer located in the passenger's footwell, got wet from the AC leaking onto it. I guess I didn't know about the AC drain blockage problem. (Now I do) All sorts of problems occurred when it was running, dashboard reset, hatch opening, horn tooting etc. Parked it and then it wouldn't start.
I dried out everything. I fully recharged the new battery (new last month). When I tried to reconnect, the horn blows continuously and the headlights popped up.
Any thoughts, or am I just looking for a new BCM?
Thanks,
Bill

Disconnect the battery. Take the BCM out of the car. Open the aluminum box and remove the circuit board (CAREFUL, Its ESD Sensitive) Carefully examine the board and look for corrosion (white deposits). If you have any deposits, remove them with alcohol and a small toothbrush. Put the board somewhere that is dry and warm to insure that ALL the moisture is out of all the components. Once the board is clean dry and free of deposits, reinstall the BCM and see what you get. Been down this road several times.
You also need to insure that the CONNECTORS are also dry and corrosion free!!!
