Default C 5 HVAC Actuators

Is there a different part # for Left and Right HVAC actuators, or is it the same for both. I need to replace the left one and thought it would be wise to do both since the dash pad has to come off. thanks in advance for your help!

Didn’t think removing the dash pad was necessary when replacing the left actuator?

Thanks Mickeyrx70 for responding to my statement about having to remove the dash pad to replace the left HVAC actuator. I have read that some people have had success without removing the dash. I'll try that first...taking out the seat and lying down backwards and upside down. If I can do that maybe I won't bother replacing the right actuator which is working fine at this time. I can't wait to fix this blowing hot on the left-cold on the right thing once and for all!

I just finished replacing the Right Actuator on my 2000 FRC. I removed the dashpad and it was not a big deal. It was actually pretty easy and I had no issues getting the pad out by myself. The actuators are the same on both sides. I bought the Dorman replacement from Oreilys for about 140 bucks. Resolved my hot and cold issue as well.

Thank you Roman 1 for the info on the HVAC actuators being the same on both sides and that removing the dash pad is not a big deal. By the way, nice FRC. Looks lowered...cool!

I have the DTCs indicating the left HVAC actuator is bad, but everything works as it should. I suppose I’ll wait on replacing the actuator until it stops working correctly.
