Error Code: C1292 H C - Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit
Hi Everyone
I recently bought 99 C5 with only 18000 miles and I am slowly working through the car and giving everything a good once over and replacing the necessary. This week I'm addressing error codes. I have a couple code in the Body Control Module and the Door and Seat module in not worried about (*yet*) but the one I'm most worried about is in the Traction Controls System (TCS)
I am getting error code "C1292 H C". C1292 is described as "Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit".
I'm planning on renewing the break fluid, not sure the previous owner ever did it, although I'm not sure if old break fluid could be the cause?
What else could I do or attempt to get to the bottom or source of the error code?
