I'm in the process of replacing all of the halogen bulbs with LEDs (except the headlights--installed Radioflyer's Bi-Xenon ACAs and love them). AndyDove inspired me with his RV LED tail lights! Here are my questions:
Originally thought yellow would be best for fog lamps but have been reading that this is based on some debunked science and white is better. Your thoughts?
Had planned to go with LED. They run cool, last long and do not require any ballasts or warm-up time but I've read that LEDs are not as bright as the original (worthless) halogens. What is your experience? If LED is more of a "downgrade" I may as well leave them alone.
Other than the offerings from Radioflyer, which I'm sure are excellent but a tad pricey for a pair of bulbs, can you suggest any specific bulbs that will replace the stock 899s and will FIT? I see some nice Cree bulbs on Amazon, 61mm long and <$19/pair.
