Default Plug wire question

Looking at doing a Long Tube header install so in preparation I am ordering plugs and plug wires.
was looking at purchasing some Hinson plug wires and heat shields. Question is should I get the straight wires or the 45 degree ones. Concerned about clearance issues with the the headers.

love the forum, lots of great information

love my new to me silver c5 2001 phadt shocks and sway bars, 243 heads la6 Intake, race seats, Hurst shifter.... and that all the know mods. Previous owner didnt know much history of the car, so if this was you car please let me know about it. Southern California car.

Moved to C5 Tech.

As to your question on prior owner(s) of the car, you might want to post up your question in the Southern California Regional Section.

Either would probably be fine with proper heat socks since most of the wires tend to be directed between primaries.
My wires are straight with socks and 1 7/8" primaries

I did the Hinson straight boot wires and factory heat shields when I did my long tube header install. Very happy so far
