Default Ok what next guys. Please help

2002 corvette
66,500 miles
new ECS set up
headers and x off road pipe no cats
c6z06 wheels with MT SS rear tires.

Not including a meth kit as that’s very soon what should be next. Thinking about going with an intake and throttlebody upgrade. I know I have the LS six Intake so my question is should I get that ported or get another Intake? If another intake should I get that ported right away? What Intake would you guys say to go with? And what throttlebody or should I port mine? I’m at 500 at the wheel now. Where would I end up with a intake an Throttlebody upgrade???

how much power do you want to make?... in my opinion an inake and tb is a waste of money in your case, you can make 1k with the ls6 in a boosted application... add a cam and some 243 heads and pair that with your meth kit you will be around 650-700rwhp and even higher if you wanted to add more boost

If you are talking about a CAI as intake, yes it will help when you are moving, if you get a RAM AIR version like the Vararam. A PTB will help some, but not much.

Unless you go with a cam, you are not going to notice much of a difference with just the CAI and the PTB. You might shave off 1/8 to 1/4 second in 1/4 times with those mods. Neither of these are too expensive nor do they require a of effort to install, so why not?

That being said, the best thing to do is share your power goals with us. Much easier to match best options when we know what you are trying to accomplish.

he has a supercharger, a cold air intake isn't applicable in this case

Thanks for some of the feedback already guys. I have a supercharger so the cold air intake is a no go. As far as power levels right now I’m at 500 to the rear wheel. I’d like to get to 575 on the stock internals. I was told the meth kit will get me another 50 or 60. If I can get to 757 without changing head or cam that would be great

I think you are maxed out and most bolt-on's won't do much to get you higher. A good supercharger cam, even the stock LS9 camshaft which is pretty cheap would get you to where you want to be. Only other things I can think of would be a smaller supercharger pulley or head porting.

ls9 cam won't work unless you change out some other parts as well because the sensor is at the front cover and not the back of the valley cover... an ls6 cam would be fine or just get a mild aftermarket cam along with some 243 or 799 heads but with those mods the power will jump considerably... if you only want 575 just add a pound or 2 of boost and get retuned with meth, that should do it

the kit you have uses a restrictor plate and with 500rwhp I'm sure that is still installed... if you take that plate out you can open the hole slightly and that will add boost without having to change your pulley or belt... just take out a small amount at a time until you get it where you want... the plate totally removed will probably get you 12-14psi peak

No I’d love to be in to the mid to high 600s but I’m worried that the bottom end won’t hold it?

the bottom end can take it as long as your tune is spot on and you have enough octane, meth will help in that regard
