Welcome to the forum, Thomas, and congratulations on your C5!
First suggestion is to pull and post your codes in the C5 Tech section at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c5-tech-1/.
If you don't know how to pull your codes, check this link: http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htm
You'll quickly learn that the DIC codes will be your great starting point for many of the issues you may face with your C5 over the years. This doesn't mean you'll have lots of problems, but when you do have problems, the DIC codes will always be a good starting point.
Best wishes with this! Larry (Route99)

The DIC codes will tell you what you where the problem lies. Hope the dealer is dong this under warranty. The repair could be simple or very expensive.

When I first saw your name I freaked out a little.
Good luck with the car.
