My pops bought an 02 Coupe from a guy who had already installed a Corsa exhaust on it. Is there any way to tell from looking at the system whether it is the Pace Car or Touring edition?
I can't help you with a physical "sight" difference, I have not seen the Pace Car exhaust up close..but if it's fairly quiet until you lay your foot into it I would guess Touring. That is what I have on mine.
I have decided though that they're too quiet for my taste and I'm 99.9999% sure I'm going after a set of Borla Stingers to liven things up. :D
I personally have not heard a Pace Car exhaust but I'm sure the Touring is the quietest one of the two.
only way you can physically tell is if you take one off and shine a light thru.....the pace is solid thru...the touring has holes in the pipe going thru.....hope this helps!

If you get under the car would you see the holes you are referring to? Or do you have to remove the exhaust to do so?
Unfortunately you have to remove the clamp and look inside......sometimes separating the pipe from the muffler is a b%$#h and requires a lil malleting! Dont use a hammer and bend anything......A block of wood is good too! I originally got the touring than got the pace......and have switched back and forth and between stock a few times for various reasons.....
The Pace Car will give you an aggressive "bark" when you start the car while the Touring will be much quieter. The Touring is also much quieter while driving.
I know the Pace Car is suppose to be louder than the Touring, but without ever hearing both I have nothing to compare to. Does anyone have sound clips of the two.
I may trade you my Stingers Cajun! Since the long tubes, heads, cam, I have a horrible resoanance at 2500RPM. It shakes the interior, it was great stock but too much now..
