Default Electrical connector rebuild

I've been getting the c1296 code for the last few days and finally found time to pick around and find out why.
The connector located up by the alternator I noticed had the silicon weather seal that surrounds each individual wire was flush with the connector, which obviously meant the wire socket itself was being pushed out by the pins in the other side of that connector. For the ever loving life of me I can NOT get them lined up right to connect properly, and they keep getting pushed back when I try to clip them together. I even removed the socket from the connector and tried to connect them individually and couldn't get them in. So... I'm ready to just replace the socket side of the wires and replace the connector as well.
Anyone know where to get the proper replacements?

pic for reference, left side of connector has the socket side, right side of connector is the pin side.

Found the connector with pig tail at oreilys. It's just an abs connector, hopefully the pin side isn't going to have an issue now.
