01vert: is the security light supposed to go on when the passenger door is open?

It goes out when the proper key is inserted in the ignition and turned ON.

I should NOT come back on once the key is in and that light goes out.

Ok: guess I didn’t make myself clear. I mean when passenger door is opened from outside after unlocking with fob. Is the security light supposed to com on?

Just went out to check; my security dash light does come on regardless of which door is opened first after unlocking with FOB (obviously you have to double click your FOB to get the PS door open, yes?).
