new to me 2004 Z06 with transplanted Ls2. Going through the car, finding a few question marks. Assistance appreciated!!
#1:
empty 2-wire female plug near the horns, passenger side
#2:
empty 2-conductor male plug, drivers side in front of the radiator. This plug and connector #3 (below) are run together in wire loom under the front crossmember
#3:
capped small vacuum line, run in the same place as #2

LOL!! Looks like someone disconnected and REMOVED the A.I.R. (Air Injection Reaction) pump motor and air valve assy from that location. If you are NOT getting any DTCs, its also been TUNED to not report. Recommend that you SEAL up the electrical connector so it can not get any water /moisture in it.
the first ones look to be for the air pump along with the vacuum line, which they discarded, the second not sure of your discription, my guess the hood light ???
Do you have an aftermarket hood???? Most aftermarket hoods don't have a place to mount that light but YES, ALL C5s should have a hood light on the passengers side of the hood.
No sir, stock hood. However the sound insulation etc was removed, the underside is painted body color, PO kept it extremely clean and waxed. The car was a 'show' car. I suspect the light was removed at that time.
