Default Check engine light question...

While driving my 99 coupe today the check engine light came on, and it began running rough.
Turned out to be a plug wire came loose.
Running fine now but the damn check engine light is still on.
Anyone know how to re-set that?

I seem to recall that once a problem is corrected, even if you don't manually clear the code, it will go away after the car has cycled through a specific number of start, run, complete cool down, start, run, complete cool down cycles....
