C5 speedometer dropouts
I'm having a problem with the speedometer in my 2001 dropping out, I've included a link to a short video.
I pulled the codes, but nothing seems to be relatable to this issue. The only other symptoms, when the speed drops, so does the volume on the radio and the reverse lock-out solenoid also opens up. I'm thinking it is the VSS sensor and I'm looking for a second opinion.

VSS sounds more plausible because if it were losing ground you would get a comms error to the IPC. I'm sure somebody else a chime in on this and verify that but I can't imagine you would throw no codes if it were the wiring and the ground.
