Well you asked for it; this is a friends project build 7 years in the making so far. A custom shop in Milw was building a car for the Silver State Classic. It's a 1966 Toronado, this body he bought has been shortened, narrowed, and made lower, The original designer was building it to accept a C5 drive line. That was the condition in which he got it since then he purchased a 03 that was hit in the front and totaled but only 23000 miles on it. First thing he did was to put the entire cabin inside for the interior, I wasn't involved in that part but he did an excellent job. Then he had a heart attack, now a couple years later he 's back at it and I'm the project coordinator. The entire running gear is in after a delay of getting the torque tube and drive shaft lengthen, enough of the wiring is complete and last Sunday finally we drove the car. The front ride height is good, but the back is 2 inches to low, it looks like it's slammed and doesn't look right. I looked and higher rated springs and don't know if they actually lift the body, but at $800 to experiment, not feasible. I'm pretty good at suspension setups, but other than removing the entire rear driveline and refabing the rear suspension mounting I see no other way. That's why I thought I'd ask the C5 forum for suggestions. Thanks T
