C5 trouble starting

Hi I have a 1998 C5 and the battery has been tested ok new alternator. I go to start the car with a battery that reads 12.6 starts ok let it warm up measure voltage while running on battery posts 14.1 turn car off battery voltage down to 12.2 and will barley turn over and wont start. Put battery charger back on to get back to 12.6 and do the same thing all over again. Any ideas???
