I've read lots about the different remote bleeders. Lot of people Hate'n on the Speedway version with the crush washer. I used one on in a LS1 RX7 Swap and had ZERO issues with it. The Slave had a nice flat machined surface on it - I guess some don't - and the crush washer is still holding fine.
In my parts accumulation to mod my 03Z i'm gonna need a remote bleeder. Since a clutch job on a C5 is probably the biggest PITA of ANY car I don't want to take chances - Nor do I want to spend $80+ on a bleeder if I don't HAVE to.
Dose anyone have experience with the Stat-O-Seal Banjo Sealing washer? I've used them on other things but not with brake fluid. See pic. Looks like a real problem solver and maybe Speedway should replace the CU / AL crush washer with this type of seal? I guess a call to the Mfg would answer my ?'s. Some 'rubber' is more Brake Fluid friendly than others.
Any opinions on it?
