So my 2002 C5 has decided to start acting up, first is the drivers seat, memory seat position has a mind of its own, moving when driving, not remembering positions, tried to pin me to the dash. Headlights are of the fritz also, used to be able to put fog lights on without the headlights going up, now they both come up and 75% of the time just 1 will work. (Lights work on both).
Battery does die a lot, I share with my 21 yr old son, so it gets driven way too much, never sits except for a few weeks in the winter. As far as codes go I've always had a code for the air filter system, sorry for lack of code info, hasn't popped up in a while.
thanks for the quick response
Update on what I've found, after looking deeper into the codes, I found that I had 24 codes all but 1 had an H, 1 had HC which is the horn, because I had to disconnect due to being woken up 2 or 3 times a night up as it would go off at 2:30 am. Codes seem to be lights and battery related for the most part, my questions is, do you get codes when you changes interior lights, turn signals, etc.? Also after reading the post by Bill Curlee, (http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...tion-long.html). I found a mess with the 2 under the hood.
After extensive cleaning and protecting both from happening again, still have issues. Next step is the battery?????
