My 2001 Corvette Hatchback 6 speed came with a CD Player radio, along with a 12 disc CD Changer. The previous owner installed an input converter, a PIE GM10-AUX, which connects into the CD Changer wiring harness, then has a jack that permits connecting to my smartphone to stream music.
Everything was working OK until last week, when the Theft Lock inactivated the radio. After disconnecting the battery overnight, the radio is now working OK, but the radio is not connecting to the converter, with the CD Icon on the radio flashing about a minute, then I get an Err Message on the display.
I tried finding a solution on the web, but could not find a manual or instructions. Does anyone have one of these and how to get it working with my radio again? I have disconnected the battery, plug and unplugged the converter, etc., with no change. Any suggestions?
