Default bolt on induction system question

Hello all. I'm looking to add some power to my 2003 Z-06 I already have a cold air kit. I was considering this kit from ecklers. https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/ulti...001-57471.html It. looks like fuel injectors are not included. I also can't find that the approximate hp gain might be. I would appreciate any opinions.

HP gain? Isn't it just what you have but set up for someone with no intake (LS motor installation), and beefing up the motor. I don't think there's any power increase on a stock LS6, or very limited anyway.
Maybe I'm not seeing it right.

Gain would be minimal on a stock LS6. For that intake/induction system, you would really need to go all out: cam, heads, headers, etc. to truly take advantage of that intake's capabilites.

If all that you have right now is a cold air intake, the next best steps in more power are a set of long tube headers and a tune to optimize everything. After that, a cam is next best step. Porting the stock 243's is another excellent upgrade.

That throttle body won't work on your car, and like Space said, hardly any HP gains for $1500. You already have a Z06. H/C/I will be around $1500-$2000 to give you another 50+ HP. Then it's off to forced induction.

Thanks guys. I'm talking to a friend that has a c5 that is built to do 9's in the 1/4 mile. I will most likely do a cam and full exhaust.

Cam and full exhaust sounds like a good plan. So your friends C5 is built to do 9's... has he? What's done to it?

I don't know what's been done to it. He bought it already at 750 hp. then He's played with it and got ir up to 850. I saw a huge supercharger on it that is at 12 psi. he is selling it but I'm not up for that kind of power.
