base c5 winter storage
is it best to just leave the engine off, for the 5-6 months of winter storage, with just a tender hooked to the battery, or start and run every month for 20-30 min. ? thanks in advance for all the input !

There are many variables/opinions on storing cars. I have had several very well respected Corvette mechanics tell me that driving a car is much better for the electrical/mechanical issues then placing it in hibernation during the winter months. Realizing you live in a snow belt as I do, I find no issues driving my Vette at least once a week when the roads are free from ice/snow/salt on the roads. When there are no drive conditions, I wait for the next week. But I am a senior and wasting 4 months not driving my Corvette is not part of my life plan.
