ultimate DIY thread laptop lockup
everytime I go to read on the Ultimate DIY 3 / 2018 thread my computer locks up after a few minutes????
my laptop Never locks up.....what gives?...?....? is it full of bugs? I need to read a lot on this.....help

Interesting -- is it the "The All new Ultimate DIY Thread 3/19/18" thread from the C5 Tech stickies, or the "UPDATED Again 8/25/13**** Ultimate DIY/FAQ Thread ...It's All in HERE!!" thread from the testing directory -- which is referenced from the 'All new' version. It almost seems as though the multiple versions of the Ultimate DIY are forming some sort of circular reasoning. I looked at various subjects in each, and didn't have my laptop lock up, but did have one video crash -- weird -- and found many dead links. Particularly any link that isn't forum based seems unlikely to work. Do you recall the subject you were investigating when it crashed? Not suggesting you crash again just to verify...

its the 3 /2018 new DIY thread...not the old one.
some of the links don't work, I was clicking and reading a lot...so not sure which exact subject , 3 times this happened while reading multiple subjects...bad freeze up// I had to press the power off button to restart...no choice

I will take a look and see if I can find the issue.
The thread is compiled from users posts and sometimes the links end up broken or the pic fails to load etc. I wish there was a better way to compile it all. I am open to ideas or anyone who wants to take it over and maintain it is welcome to do so. I will gladly let someone make a new one out of the old one and then edit as necessary.

in the meantime I will start looking into the issue
