Like all, my OEM lights are dim at best. I decided to swap to the HIR's and they are MUCH better. The job was a total PITA - I messed up one of the bulb retaining rings (Pass side Low beam) and had to get resourceful to get it right - they (lows) line up perfectly!
After the install (I got REAL good at R & R'ing the side & top covers) I noticed that one of my Hi Beams - Driver side - was aiming high. Did a lot of reading here and most say that a tab is not seated in the ring correctly. I triple checked the tabs and they are all in the grooves as intended. I even thought that maybe the high one was OK and the low one (Pass Side) was the problem - took it all apart AGAIN and all are seated right.
I never checked the original alignment vs the new and I did not swap the bulbs from L to R to see if the bulb was the problem. I did look at both bulbs and they look the same - nothing is bent, crooked or tweaked. I'm stumped!
What do you all think my problem could be?

Thanks for the reply. Kinda figured I was gonna have to do that. Its so much easier to have the capsule out to do any work back there. I guess I'll just suck it up and do it. Simple things seem to always become complicated things for me. Story of my life...
