Engine temp change/4:10 gearing
There have been many threads about lower gearing regarding fuel mileage and performance. However, I have never seen any mention about any effect on engine operating temps. With the increase in RPM's, I would think the operating temp would rise somewhat. Living in southern AZ where the summer temps are off the charts, I have some concern. '04 six speed coupe with a Ron Davis radiator, DeWitts fans, Honker intake, LG street pro headers, high flow cats and X pipe with a street tune. 27,000 on the clock.Thanks for any replies.
