So that well priced 01 I just bought for 15k well the asshat was one of those "since the light sucks I'm gonna put LEDs and only run the high beams".....
well I tested the low beam led bulbs he had thinking I'll just install them at home now they wont even power on just the highs. So now that extra money I thought I saved is going to go towards fixing that but it's an inevitable problem from what I read so I might be doing myself a favor down the road.
Actually thinking of switching to those headlights that dont pop up just to save myself the headache.... but I feel like those ruin the front end IMO.
where did you go to school I cant even understand what the problem is? from what I get it needs new low beam bulbs, 10min job max.
duh l o w beams workeded now da low beams no worky....
I dont understand where that was so hard to understand. The seller had a dual(that means 2) Light Emitting Diode (LED) setup in the headlights(the thingy that makes light come out).
Originally both bulbs( light making thingies) worked now the low beams(ones that make less light) dont turn on, only the high beams work.
Don't get the fixed frog eyes. They're literally the worst. Why don't you just throw some halogens in the low-beam spot and call it a day. I can tell you from experience that those drop in LEDs are garbage. If you're wanting good light output, I'd look at Radioflyer if you can afford it. If you can't (like me) JW motorsports has a projector HID kit that is supposed to be decent. If you want to go really cheap, you could try one of the ebay housings.
Check your fuses. Each bulb has their own fuse. Also, if you still have the LEDs in there, try reversing the plug. If none of those work, you probably have a bad MFS switch.

If multiple people can't understand you, perhaps it's not their fault. Communications is a very valuable skill; we tend to standardize around one method of communication in order for everyone to clearly understand everyone else. It's hard when there are language barriers - we haven't _all_ standardized - but if we both speak English, it's polite to try to write so that people understand you. "Insert correct punctuation where you need it" is good advice for the author, not the reader.
Okay, so your low beams don't work? And they used to work? They're aftermarket LEDs? Let's consider what the problems might be.
1) Headlight switch. Do the headlights go up when you turn them on? If so, probably not the switch.
2) Relays and fuses. All electrical circuits come from your battery; most are controlled by a relay (you can find diagrams online); then they go through a fuse; then they go out to the component (lights); then they go to ground. Well, does the relay work? You can probably find out by testing the voltage at the fuse with lights off and lights on. Does the fuse work? You can test voltage at both ends of the fuse, or you can (with the circuit not powered on) test impedance (resistance, using your multimeter's "Ohm" setting, usually written as an Omega symbol or an R).
3) If your relays and fuses work, chances are your lights died due to an electrical issue (cheap LEDs do that), or they overheated, or if there's a power-resistor across the line, that resistor might be dead for the same reasons (usually overheating).

Given all the money you saved I would recommend that you check with forum sponsor RadioFlyer for the conversion kit. The best money you can spend for improving C5 lighting IMO

You are making a mountain out of molehill. It's just 4 bulbs total to replace them all.
Again everyone is TRYING to be nice. I will too (even though I think there is some rudeness going on with your post)
Happy to help with both type of headlights: Both have nearly identical performance.
identical optical performance.
I really like your flush mounted headlights, most others bulge out a little.
Mind sharing what brand? Thanks
Also, when the first response is what type of education do you have? And being a 10+ year army grunt for uncle sam, responding in a manner which I feel like the other person would understand only comes natural.
Thought I was clear, obviously i wasn't but the education level is high enough to have owned 4 corvettes, 3 which were Zs and good enough to have a c5 Z as a beater car. Never claimed to be an English major but I appreciate the help.

Radioflyer brand. It is his own in-house build using Morimoto HID projectors.
