Line Output Converter. Pretty much just gives you RCA connections from head unit for the amp you're adding.
If you're going to use on stock Bose system just make sure to tap into the low level inputs before the amplifier processing.
I've used them before. They're pretty decent, but sound quality could definitely be improved if you go full aftermarket (stereo, speakers, etc).
