rwobs777 thanks for the pictures! that will make it much easier.

one question and like i said probably will be a dumb one but there is no reprograming of the key needed right? should not but just making sure here.,

Correct, you're only swapping the switch itself. Everything else remains the same ... no reprogramming / re-keying needed.

alright fellas, you guys have given me the tools needed for this adventure, i get off at 1600 EST and should be installing the part shortly after. i will keep everyone posted once the job is complete. gunna be an excitng adventure!

Rwobs777! You are my hero!that ignition switch fixed the issue! Great job! Took it all apart, put the new one in and bam! She starts and runs..

I am pretty confident it will fix the issue, when I started the evolution the lights in the dash were pretty dim, after the install, nice and bright! Along with the stroke of the key, she fired up. I cant thank you and everyone else on this great forum for the great advice.

Also as a side note, I cleared all the codes, I will see what codes happen over the next week or so if any. Then report.
