Default Bouncing rear!

Traveling back from Atlanta on I 85, at 80 mph cruise set (25 mpg!) On left sweeping curves in the road, the rear would jump about 6 inches or so ,cruise would kick out and active handling would light up on dash. Standard shift car Right rear bearing has been changed. Tires are like new. This only happens on left curves, never on right ones. What should I look for? Other than this minor hiccup this car is fantastic!

It sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor acting up. I would suggest pulling and posting your codes.

Sounds more like a tie rod. Wheel bearing would give 12 and 6 movement as well. Would also explain the back end trying to walk out from under you.

I SECOND the tie rod or some other suspension link issue. A bearing would be loose in any direction.

What shocks do you have and how old are they?????

What suspension is in the car OEM Base FE1, F-45 Real Time Dampening, Z-51 or ZO6?????

What mileage is on the suspension??

As soon as the cruise kicks out, IMMEDIATELY without turning off the ignition, clear any Messages in the dic by pressing the reset button and then read the DTC. Some EBTCM DTCs clear them selves at ignition OFF and then ON.

Worn shocks can contribute to weird high speed turn handling issues. There should be ZERO lost motion in the 3-9 O clock position if the 12 -6 is good!!. I would start there FIRST!!!!
