Default What FAST setup

Hey guys. I have a 2003 z06. Car currently has 1 7/8 headers catted x pipe and corsa sports. Halltech intake and a tune. Car will be going in for Texas speeds stage 2.5 ported/milled heads and a cam this month. Now I am contemplating going all out and adding a fast setup. What exact intake manifold do I want with this setup, and what throttle body would I need to run? Also, what else is needed for this upgrade? New fuel rails, injectors? I’m trying to get an idea on price for the parts and if it is worth it all while it’s torn apart. After this I do not plan on doing any other engine modifications. Thanks.

Fast 102, ls2 throttle body, harness adapter for throttle body, new fuel rails, ls2 fuel rails will work, probably need new injectors but don’t install injectors till doing the tune, you don’t want to run the motor with different injectors and incorrect flow data

so I’m looking at 1500 bucks about? Is it worth it? I figure I will prob need new injectors as well, but we’ll see when it’s tuned.

And keep in mind, on some cars the 102 fast intake hits the firewall and you need lower engine mounts or butcher the firewall.

Does the FAST 102 fit the C5 without lowering the cradle?

Seems the FAST 92 fits, but I have no personal experience, just what I've read and could be wrong.

What are your goals and plans for this car?

I was just doing some more research and it seems like the fast 92 would be a good option. It’s my fun car. Might see the track. I just want to get the most out of it na. What’s needed to run a fast 92 setup? Is it worth it?

It’s probably worth about 30hp or so, if you’re going to turn 7000+ rpms then it’s worth it but if you’re staying around 6500 or so then I wouldn’t bother

as far as hitting firewall every car is different, some hit some don’t, also if you have milled heads/ thinner gaskets ect that will give slightly more clearance

i had a fast 92mm on my 01 zo6 stock fuel rails bolt right on, you will need a ls2 throttle body silver blade (not the gold) and adapter harness, even if you keep your stock intake any thing over 410ish to the wheels your pushing the limits of the 28lb injectors

is it worth it? it was for me i could not see doing h/c full bolt'ons and leave HP on the table by keeping the stock intake

parts list
fast 92mm cathedral port manifold
gm ls2 silver blade throttle body (OR) after market
ls1 to ls2 throttle body harness

YES I had to do some "butcher work" on my FAST intake as the MAP sensor hit the firewall

Fast intake ( if used, get new fast intake gaskets)
Your stock fuel rail will work if going with Fast 92. They wont work with Fast 102.
Bigger injectors
ls2 Tb like already mentioned
Ls1 to ls2 Tb harness like stated

any cathedral port gaskets will work dont have to be fast, only other thing comes to mind is valley cover bolts need to swap to hex button head bolts but if your getting a new intake should come with all the hardware, if picking up a used one most of the time they dont come with them

swap is pretty straight forward, your stock rails work no mods needed

for an "ALL out N/A" build the option I would go with would be the MSD intake........ and I think the stock rail's could be used if I remember correctly.... then you could spring for a nick Williams 102mm....

I think I’m going to pull the trigger on the fast 92 with a ls2 tb. Might as well go all in at this point. Hopefully this set up is worth the extra cost from stock.
