Default Z headers

am purchasing a 04 Z in the next few days,, haven t done any mods to one before, only to my 02 Vert, and C6
1 7/8 or 2" headers ?
am thinking not 1 3/4, but i could be wrong.
am thinking 2" is too big for that motor.

1 3/4" in theory is more than fine, it's what I went with after much research.
1 7/8" is used by many also, what I read mostly said the 1 3/4" was better for all around drivability.
2", not with 346 cubic inches... unless you plan to toss major mods (bore/stroke/blower) on it.

I have to agree on the 1.75" ,ca still handle cam, heads, intake in my mind and still have the torque.

I have 1 3/4 on my 408 LS3 headed engine. Leaning towards 1 7/8 possibly 2”. I’ve been looking and reading what everyone else is using....
