Rear diff questions
i have this rear diff from a late 90s or early 2000s base or z vette not sure. That’s where you come in. Can you identify and verify that it is the better case with 3.15 ratio. I was told by WCC that the existing rear diff in my 98 vette with a 2.73 ratio can not except taller gear sets like 3.9 or 4.11 so I bought this rear diff and on the tag it says 3.15 and I herd someone say the three rib diff is the better one that excepts taller gears so I was hoping you could look at the pics when I get them up and tell me if my thought are correct, that the diff in pic can except taller gears then I plan on putting this back in my car for some 1/4 fun. PS. How do you get the axels out? Do you have to open it up and take some clips out or something like that? Thanks folks. Faster 5��
