Default Clutch wear

I know this is a subjective question but here goes. Bought a stock 2002 Corvette that just turned 89k miles. I'm the third owner and the car is in pristine shape with a 6-speed trans. At what mileage, in a car that hasn't been raced, should I start thinking about a clutch replacement?

I would change it when either you have an issue with the clutch or another issue causes you to pull the drivetrain(oil leak or torque tube issue). We have replaced clutches on stock cars at 20k miles and 100k. Unless the hydraulics blow out, a clutch issue is usual felt and will not leave you stranded.

I second this!!!! I don't plan to change my clutch unless I have issues or slip. With aggressive/quick 1-2 and 2-3 shifts you should easily chirp the tires and experience zero slip at every RPM and load condition. I have 90k miles on what I believe might still be the stock original clutch and have zero complaints.
