C5 Disc Changer Bracket removal
I'm about to install a subwoofer in the rear cargo hold of my car ('99 Coupe) and an interested in how I would go about removing the disc changer brackets. I've looked and there doesn't seem to be any bolts or screws, and I haven't been able to find anything online about it. I figure I'm not the first one to do this, so does anyone have suggestions for me? Thanks for the help.

Hi,
the studs are hidden under the mat. You need to take away the charger, and with a long straight pipe wrench you can reach the nuts on the left side.
