I do not always read every single posts out here. I'm Supporting Vendor on 5 sites, so unless you send me an email notifying me of the post or a PM or IM, I'll never think to find it, if you know what I mean.
As for the "beta" tests, what do you mean? The beta testing is basically over now. Or do you mean on the 5.3 Silverado I tested on the dyno the other day? W/ an early revision of the Predator software we acheived 12 rwhp on the truck. The customer had already bought the Predator from another company and wanted me to dynotune it in for him. Upon getting there and plugging it up I noticed it was an old revision, but he wanted to go on anyway, so we did.
I'd say in the grand scheme of things that 12 rwhp is quite awesome for a *stock* vehicle, but remember it is more than just power that makes the vehicles quicker and have better driveability.
BfB,
As dyno #s are all relative..........Does this Model for the trucks have any of the bugs like is going on in the C5's?
I like what it can do (Read the manuals), but I do not want to be a tester for trucks unless you are willing to give me a tester price.
How many trucks have you tried this on?
My main intrest is tweaking AF/Shift fimness/fans and if I get a few ponies extra that is a bonus.
Please advise,
Thanks,
Steve
I can assure you that I have not ran into 1 problem yet testing 2 trucks out. Both had 5.3's. One was tested on the dyno it and gained 12 rwhp. Shifting felt great and quick, speedo was calibrated properly for the slightly taller aftermarket wheels/tires.
Truck barks 2nd, and I was told it at times will chirp 2-3.
