TRIED TO INSTALL WHEELS.....
BOUGHT REPRODUCTION Z06 WHEELS FOR MY 99C5 AND TRIED TO INSTALL TODAY AND WAS TOLD THE SENSOR IN THE WHEEL DOES NOT FIT THE NEW RIM :mad WAS LEAKING AIR :mad DO I NEED THAT SENSOR IN MY TIRE?HE ALSO SAID I WOULD HAVE THE INDICATION IF I REMOVED THE SENSOR :cheers:

If you dont have the sensors your car will show an error message every time you start it, unless you reprogram it. You can clear the message, but it gets annoying after a while. The sensors should fit the rims, call the seller back and ask for more details, you might just need new O-rings. Hope it works out for you :cheers:

Just switched to Z06 (OEM) and had no problems with the stock sensors. Maybe the aftermarket have a different size hole?? Probably just an o-ring.
