First, you need webspace to upload your picture to. Most ISP's will give you some free space, use that if it's available to you. Most free webhosts (ie: geocities) forbid remote linking of images, so don't use one. Whatever you get, follow their instructions and address to upload to.
Next, click on the "My Profile" link near the top of this page, then go to "My Signature", and use (as an example):
[ IMG]http://www.yourwebhost.com/yourpicture.jpg[ /IMG] to show your picture. You will need to use the exact filepath (URL) of your picture file, filenames are cap-sensitive.
(note I used a space in the IMG tags in the above example so it didn't try to show an image here...eliminate the space when you do it).
