Default Lost adjustment pin on c5

I took apart the whole center console on a c5 to do a shifter link adjustment, and when I finally got to it the pin is missing. I went to Chevy hoping they would have it but they didn’t. They want to sell the whole assembly for 480$. I was wondering what options do I have ? Could I just buy a hurst shifter, would that come with a pin to adjust it?

The arrow on this photo is the pin that my car is missing.

I just use a small allen key or a bent nail. It's only used during the shifter centering procedure. Any pin that fits in there will do.

OP, do you have one of those "mechanics magnets", the ones on a telescoping handle?. Maybe your original pin fell down into the tranny tunnel, and the magnet can "find" it. Otherwise, as mentioned, an allen wrench or drill bit does just as good a job.

One of my C5's (can't remember which one) had the pin missing. I just used an allen wrench to line up hole
