Pegged heat gauge and service column lock

Pegged heat gauge
Hey guys, I just recently purchased an '04 c5z and love it. Today I left my lights on and killed the battery so naturally I got a jump start. When I turned the car on it gave me a service column lock code that never came up before, I cleared the code and it fixed the column issue but when I went to drive it to recharge the battery I noticed the heat gauge go straight to max, any ideas what it may be?

I'd take my battery cables off... charge the battery then reconnect and see if things clear up... if not you can get a code...

Great to hear. Low battery causes all kinds of electrical gremlins to surface. Jump starting even more.
That being said, your column lock may not be "fixed". Check to see if a LMC5 has been installed. If not, get one and install it, then it will be fixed.
