@Beer:30 If you want to really dig in, the carbon ceramic brakes from the ZR1 are a direct swap up front on the C5, but includes needing extra parts such as the ZR1 spindle and such. I think the username who did it is Pumba if you want to look it up, it was a well documented swap he did and didn't need anything custom if memory serves me. Except a custom bank account maybe, that stuff is $$$$.

This stuff is pretty well documented, it's just spread out. Some of us have been here a LONG time too and have seen what works and what doesn't.

It is all over and getting harder to find.
The intention of this thread is a direct bolt on, function as intended list. I did not include seats because there is a seat plug mod needed. I will/do include Z06 caliper/disc because you need bigger disc like you need a bigger tire on a bigger rim, and in this case it bolts right up. Once it gets into something more focused, like full brake swap, that can be handled with a search. I want this thread to be a starting point for an new owner or one like myself. I am getting back to the C5 after 14 long years without one and with many developments and changes (C6,C7) happening since.

This is more of a point of reference info than anything that can be added to the OP intended listing.
The early 24x Gen IV LS2 engine in the 2005 only C6 is basically a 6.0L version (enlarged bore) of the the '01 LS6 engine in the C5 Z06. The 2006-07 Gen IV 58x LS2 is slightly less so. There are some other engine pieces/parts that are carry over from the later LS1 and LS6 in the C5 to the LS2 in the C6 such as say the bare 243 head castings, but these really are not what I would consider "easy bolt-on" parts, even though they do actually bolt-on. This type of swap-able engine pieces/parts has also been mention above with such things as the intake manifolds, throttle bodies, as well as the LS2 timing chain, LS2 lifter trays, LS7 lifters, some valve train pieces/parts, center bolt valve covers, wet sump oil pump and oil pans, some sensors, etc..
Please note that although both the C5 and the 2005 C6 only had 4-spd automatic transmissions, the C5 is a 4L60E while the 2005 C6 is a 4L65E. Also even thought the 2005-07 C6 used a T56 5-spd manual transmission as did the C5, these are not directly interchangeable, but can be made into bolt-in swap-able by changing a few components.
It would be really cool to have again the above mentioned secondary list of parts that can be swapped "with additional changes".

How about this, what c6 or c7 rims will bolt onto a c5 thats using c6 gs brakes along with c6 spindle ans hub?
Im asking wheels specific
Perhaps any aftermarket with the correct offset but tell the offset combo you use.
