Has happened twice as a back out of garage, small streak of fluid. Not leak while standing still. To my surprise, I never new I had not dipstick for transmission. I worked at dealer and always had it serviced. Due for a tranny service soon. Is there a common cause, I'm at 114k on my 1998?
Assuming it is transmission fluid, my guess would be transmission output shaft seal to the diff. If the seal leaks, fluid will pool up behind the housing between the trans/diff and come out at the base of the seam.

Thank you, off to call a tech or two. I've had her 13 years, thinking weather I'm going spend the $$. Looking for a mid Sixties Muscle 💪 car.

Nothing wrong with that plan either! If it were the seal I was referencing, repair would require dropping the entire drivetrain and disassembling the trans axle...definitely wouldn't be cheap to have a shop do it. Sounds like ammo to justify swapping for a new toy
The first thing I would do would be to raise the car to see if there is an obvious source, check the transmission pan bolts for correct torque and then the fluid level and top off if necessary.
Number of possibilities.
Number one you drove the car while the PPF was still wet.
Number two, the material is just lifting on a few edges and can easily be sucked down with water and heat by the installer. Easy peasy.
If there are bubbles then that’s a different issue. If the bubbles do not disappear within a week of install, then the work Has to be redone.
