unable to run scan on codes

thankyou gentlemen......this is so weird....yesterday after installing new rear rotors and cleaning sensor conections and lowering the car off stands the traction control option worked flawlessly with no code showing on the dic....now this morning started the car and issue is back....seems the issue went away when the car was brought back off the stands and now am back to the same problem....still unable to read or clear any code...today gonna closely look at sensor wires for any small damage........tires are orginial with fronts 245/45zr 17 and the backs 275/40 zr 18........like i said everything worked after car was lowered off stands....again i thank all for the info and help.....
