The many Corvette specific vendors will have alternators that have the correct PCM duty cycle functions implemented. Personally I'd try Cultrag who usually has good prices on OEM parts.
You could potentially source locally but that will be a crap shoot. Some parts stores may have the correct alternators and some may not. You wouldn't know until it's installed and if the DIC displays a Charging System Fault.

mechman alternators work great as well if you don't mind spending a little more, I have had one on my car for a few years with no issues... pm Bret (blownbluez06) if you're interested in one of those
