I'm making 398 N/A horsepower and going to spray a 150 wet shot. We're tuning the nitrous on the dyno, so I'll be able to watch A/F ratio. I'd like to upgrade the fuel pump, but Aeromotive said they don't have anything and Walbro says the 255 is too much pump for the 2001 regulator set up and fuel rails. I also can't find any information on what the stock pump flows.

that's odd, I had a 255 with a boost a pump at one time with factory regulator and rails, 60lb injectors, and meth and that was good for a little over 700... the fuel system never posed an issue the time I had it set up that way, I wonder why walbro said it wouldn't work?... you can also make a 450 fit with a little modification to the bottom of the bucket

i purchased Lingenfelter it was either a 225 or 255 drop in for 99-03 c5's, if i remember right 2003.5 and 2004 they changed the pump setup in the tanks
my car with the stock ls6 block H/C/I full bolt'on last dyno was 475rwhp 415rwtq N/A and 599/600 on go fast button 42lb injectors every thing else was stock, fuel system was stable but dont think it would support much more then 600ish wheel
your going to need a bunch of jets to dial in both the fuel and nitrous every car is different the recommended jets for a 150 hit didnt work as stated i only picked up 80rwhp, i had to play around with jetting after the 1st dyno witch ended up costing me a full day and cost of another dyno tune session had i know from the start it would have saved me $450 if i had the extra jets on hand, another thing i learned was bottle pressure if your only using it at the track you can get away with a single bottle but pressure drops quick so no back to back runs if your going down to mexico you will want to add a second bottle to stabilize pressure since as pressure drops the a/f gets richer as the bottle pressure drops, single bottle i was loosing 150ish psi per hit with dual bottles only 50ish psi per hit
when its all said and done to be completely honest nitrous is not simple or cheap as it comes off to be, i have about $2,500 in my nitrous express system when i started i though i would have less then $1,200 but add in progressive controller, timing retard controller, fuel pressure switch, gauges, fittings, bottle brackets, switch plate, purge kit, blow down tube and about 20lbs of wiring it gets costly real quick trying to make the system safe and stable
