Default HUD Getting dim

Has anyone had a problem with the HUD dimming over time. I think ,but I am not sure, that I used to be able to see it
during daylight hours much better than I can now. It shows at night just fine and it is not because the dimmer switch is turned down
Just curious if any one else has had this happen

exactly. A lot of times I can’t see it at all but it’s just from the glare. Sometimes the angle helps.

Thanks, I will try that. Now that I have a HUD I would miss it if it faded away

Mine got dim over time and then it went totally out. I haven't removed the dash yet to get it out but it may be a problem with the photo resistor that controls the brightness in the sunshine.
And also, are you wearing polaroid sunglasses? That can dim the display a lot.

That would be worth a "how to" post. This is genius.

Hmmm....8 resistors......Are you confusing the climate control with the HUD?
