Default Help Me Identify this Plug!

Happy Easter everyone!

I am in the middle of reassembling my interior after removing the HVAC unit. It is nearly complete with the exception of the wire pictured below. It is tied in with the plugs for the vent servo on the driver's side of the HVAC box. From my investigation it is very similar to the plug below the ignition switch which is going to a sensor (temperature sensor?) behind the square vent that is beside the ignition. I have a parts car that I was able to check also, but this wire was unplugged in it too (the dash has been removed). I have looked at the underside of the dash pad an only see the plug for the hazard lights. So the big question- Where does this wire go and can I plug this in without removing the HVAC unit again?? I pray that's possible haha,. any insight would be helpful. If it makes any difference this is an 03 Z06.

The similar plug near the ignition:

It looks like the plug for the twilight sentinel sensor. The sensor is on the left side of the grill on the dash. If you follow it down, it should wind up near the steering column.

I forgot to mention that the Z06 didn't come stock with the twilight sentinel option however did have the harness. All that is needed is to add the sensor and activate the RPO in the computer.

Not really sure, wiring for twilight option is 2 wires as shown on my 2003 Coupe, can't tell from your photo if 1 wire or 2, only photo I have no picture of the sensor or wiring connector.

Thanks, after reading around about the sensor I believe this connection fits that description.

That's perfect, those are the same wires in my picture. I have learned that I don't have that option so I will be ignoring it
