Default question about exhaust

I am thinking about putting bullet mufflers right after the h-pipe and then dumping it before the axle. I was wondering if anyone out there knows somebody who has done this and if there are any gains or hazrads from it. Thanks

Jason

So your basically adding mufflers and turn downs. I would think exhaust coming into the cabin would be a potential problem.

Besides worrying about Carbon Monoxide, your going to experience massive cabin resonance.

I would reccomend against it. As I think the resonance would be unbearable. The rear of the cabin is basically a ported subwoofer from underneath. It really can get EXTREMELY loud inside the car.... while there is minimal exhaust tone from even just outside. When I put the shortie race mufflers on mine, there was a ton of difference in resonance in just getting the muffler shop to line the mufflers up straight front to back. At first, the mufflers were just a bit turned out and the resonance was nearly unbearable.

Just my .02. :yesnod:

in my state, it's illegal for the exhaust to not exit the outside of the car.
