I pulled the fuse and circuit breaker and left them out for a minute, then replaced both with no luck.

I guess for now just remove the 3 connectors from the SCM plug the comb back in and see if everything works OK...your windows aren't working because the DDM needs to communicate with another module so the windows will function...maybe the BCM ??...maybe the IPC ??...I'll check that later today...now I'm curious !!... that's why with the other Star Connector comb removed you have to jump the PCM to BCM data lines together !!... with the combs out nobody's talkin' to nobody...those modules are in their own little world...LOL !!....you said it might be raining out your way so let us know what you find !!

I needed to buy some torx sockets to get the mount for the wiring harness off of the seat bottom bracket. I then removed the seat and disconnected two wire bundles. I then reattached them and the door locks worked, but the windows didn't.
I then went to the 9 wire bundle in the IPC and filed that comb again. Once installed, the power windows worked.
Now all that I need to do is put everything back together.

Once again, Thank You very much. You saved me a ton of money and I learned a lot at the same time.

Hi Pat !!
So you disconnected the SCM connectors plugged the combs back in and just the windows didn’t work ??...did you verify that you no longer have 12 volts on the SCM data line at the Star Connector ??...if you were to remove the module and you still had 12 volts on the SCM data line that data wire between the SCM and the Star Connector is somehow shorted to a power wire somewhere...so a new SCM on order ??...BTW, the Driver and Passenger Door Modules (DDM/PDM) must have communication to the IPC module for the windows to operate...I guess I learned something new also !!...if you get around to it treat those Star Connectors and combs with one of those products I mentioned...Stabilant 22 is the BEST though !!

After disconnecting and reconnecting the wires at the SCM, I verified that I no longer had 12 volts on the dark brown/ white wire. Only the door locks worked. I then went to the 9 pin comb and cleaned that up better. When I reinstalled the comb, the windows worked.

Wow !!...just disconnecting and reconnecting the harness caused the data line not to have power on it ??...I’d look closely at the wiring at the Module and see if the data line and a wire carrying 12 volts didn’t meet !!

I checked the website of Caig Deoxit and found out that their Deoxit D5 is better for older stuff than the D6G.
I found on the web that Guitar Center sells it. There is one near me, so I paid $16 for a can and sprayed in on the SCM contacts and the IPC contacts. I shouldn't have any more problems with the no start, windows and door locks not working.
Once again, Thank you very much, you saved me a ton of money!

Well THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!...I just don’t want to see our Forums members get ripped off basically due to a “lack of knowledge” (most are honest) and I put dealerships in that same category...anyone can turn a wrench on these cars but finding a GOOD Diagnostician is a whole different animal !!
