rear suspension Noise
I have a 01 Z06 with 40K I have a "creaking" noise from the rear end area I can't figure out. As u put a load on the drive train forwards or backwards I get this "creaking" noise. Any thoughts? Thanks

Pull the caps off of the rims, get an impact socket and tighten the axel nuts. I had the same issue in my 01 Z with 23k miles. In fact, I completely back mine off, cleaned the threads and torqued them back down.
Ive had to do this on every C5 I’ve owned...hope this helps. Those nuts are pretty big, 33mm.
