LS6 intake swap
Can some one confirm the sensor on the rear end of the intake is MAP sensor?
Sensor on the engine top engine block next to oil pressure sending unit is Camshaft position sensor(cam sensor) ??
Can anyone tell me where I can get Good quality aftermarket knock sensors & knock sensor harness and cam position and MAP Sensors? Should I go with all OEM parts and are OEM parts avaliable?
I understand water can get inside the knock sensors and some people put a rtv sealant around the knock sensor cover- is this recommended fix?
I know I have to tap down the cylinder steam lines down to valley cover and remove the bottom raised ridges on the LS6 intake in order for LS6 intake to bolt on. Then will bolt on no problem, don't need a tune or throw any code(i hope).
Any input and suggestions is appreciated in case I missed something or not aware..............

You nailed ALL of the sensors. Good Job!

I would NOT change the Knock Sensors if they are not corroded or oil soaked leave them be. Pop the covers, examine and if good, reseal. If you examine the harness and its damaged, you can replace that. Don't know if the dealer still carries it Check on availability.. The CAM SENSOR should also be good. If it works, it usually wont fail. The valve valley fastener tops is as low as the manifold will sit. Anything below those fastener tops is golden. . Install NEW intake manifold seals on the LS6 manifold!! Before you install the new seals, drop the manifold into place without seals!. If it fits flush onto the heads (doesn't rock or have gaps), you have cleared all the obstructions under the manifold and it will not have a problem sealing.
YES, Change the oil pressure sensor. They fail more than any other sensor.

Just a manifold change shouldn't require tuning. BUT,,, Anytime you change ANYTHING between the air filter and the CATS, it does effect engine efficiency. How much depends on how much air flow you change. Manifold is pretty mild and the PCM should easily adapt. That being said, I would recommend saving a few bucks and getting a good mail order tune. It will wake the engine up and you will smile! If you are against tuning, No big deal,, you should be fine..
