no start
Went to start 03 ZO6 this morning and was greeted with no stat. Key in, all lights and guages worked but no turning over. Good battery, no codes (diagnostics readout. Called a fellow C5 owner who advised to try key fob to lock and unlock doors. This worked and car started right up and ran well. I guess there must be a malfunction with the security system. Any thouhts and fixes would be reatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have no clue as to why locking and unlocking the car with the FOB would allow the car to start, next time this happens observe the security light it should go off before you turn the key to start. One possible explanation is that unlocking with the FOB sent the unlock status of the car to the BCM????
